If you have unlimited hight wise space, then just keep them in veg and they will show on their own, but if you have a hight limit, then dont worry, just put the lighting into 12/12 and they will show, then you can carry on with 12/12 for about 2 months, maybe a little more for certain strains and you'll get your bud
i guess your right about the space thing. i always grew scrog so height was never an issue. my spaces were only 2'x2'x3' and 2'x4'x6' and would vegg for 6-10 weeks without any space issues. i don't know why everyone with small spaces doesn't do scrog. it makes everything so much easier. the high yeilds are a plus as well!
