You don't get a lot of heat from having the ballast still attached to the lights and in the room with your plants?

I dont think so zandor ....I have a thermostat set up in the middle of the room and the temp. in the room is maintained at 69/72 deg. (lites off ) ....79/83 deg. (lites on ) .
I'M SORRY I have'nt been logging on lately but "duty calls". here are some pic's of how my harvest is going .
