Id say the main things i want in a system:

Portability, like the PSP but not so small.
Different controlers for diff types of games, or a controller that u can use in different ways
the system should be fast and the game sshould be long and have alot of work put into them.

Mybe, be able to download the new game's to your console instead of having to go and buy them...

and a ummmm..... oooo, they should make it so you can play old game's (like, how you can play ps1 game's on ps2) on the console but the graphics are improved to look like a modern game.

There was actually supposed to be a console that let you download games via boradband. I think it was called the phantom. If it ever did come out, it flopped miserably.

A console which would'nt play games... But instead put rays in your head so you "think" you've already played a "certain" game and you remember "playing" it from start to finsh, so theres no need to play the game in the first place.

Would save alot of time for all those people who's lives evolve around video games
