My friend bought an unused glass bowl in florida. He's coming home tomorrow at 7 o clock in the morning. They're legal to buy both in ny and fla, but he doesnt want the security people getting suspicious or anything... he's with his girlfriends parents and they'll get real pissed if they find out he has it.

1) Just to make sure, is it legal to carry it on the plane. It'd be horrible if he got arrested
2) where should he put it so he doesn't get questioned-- his gf's parents can't find out about it. I'm thinking in his girl's purse so it goes through the xray machine no questions asked, what do you think? Luggage? Purse? what?

In most states the pipe is only illegal after it has been smoked out of.Know your rights.A glass pipe with no thc residue is considered "glass art" you should'nt worry about it.

I've heard Nevada considers it to be illegal paraphanalia (papers at least) without some tobacco with it. You may want to check out the law in the state their flying to.

When I go on a plane I put "whatever" in my suit case.

I agree, probably ok if unused, but why wouldn't questions be asked if the x-ray picked up something that looks suspicious? Just attach a string and make sure it looks like a tampon

here's something you may want to try with an 1/8 or 1/4 of weed next time (haven't tried myself, but heard it works)

take a box of granola bars...open one carefully, take out the granola bar. shape the weed like a bar, insert and carefully tape up the packaging and put the "granola bar" back into the box. The stash should look just like any other scooby snack.
