Ya Robert it's hard to get used to working nights. I now work shift hrs. I get to work 4 nights--6pm to 6am, then I get 3 off, come back on 3 days, get 1 off, back for 3 nights, 3 off then back for 4 days. But then I get 1 week off. It was real hard at first. Having a week off every month is worth it plus all the overtime adds up nicely. It's not easy to sleep during the day. Like geonagual said, make sure to black out your windows and the do not distrub sign is a neccessity. Also I found it helpful to notify all friends and relatives of my hrs so they were not calling and waking me up all the time. You'll get used to it after awhile.
