But I have been reading here daily and have gotten some excellent advice and hopefully I will start out avoiding the most common mistakes.

My set up is going to be a 4 foot flouro in a mylar lined homemade cabinet/shelf I custom built where I will start my plants, and later my clones. My room is 50"x33"x9'. In the room I intend on using MH Fixture for veg, and switch it out when time to 12-12 flower stage with HPS Fixture. I am venting lights with dual 460 cfm fans, providing fresh air with a 460 cfm and a carbon filter installed also. Will be bringing fresh air in at bottom, exhaust air going out ceiling. All insulated duct of course. I will be using C02 hooked to climate controller which overrides fans etc when running and has photo cell to not feed during darkness, etc. And, I am using hydro, a flood system.

Now you know exactly what I have, and am going to be dealing with here is my question. OK, I have fem's growing and I get some clones during veg stage. I know dip in root gel, after diagional cut, etc etc. Once they root I move to the next size rockwool cube and in the flouro grow cabinet they go. Now, am I not going to wind up with them growing faster than my other plants? If so, how can I keep a cycle of plants going by using clones.

What I am assuming is I have 10 weeks for each harvest. So I cut clones at 3-4 weeks for example, root, toss in flouro box, well in 6 weeks as I wait for my crop in the room to finish wont they out grow my 48" high flouro cabinet ?

Let me thank you in advance for any advice you could offer. This is a great site, I bet some of y'all grow some kick ass buds. I'll be one of ya's in time as I love to read, and listen to what others KNOW works, not reinvent the wheel.

Happy Trails,
bonger

P.S. Just put the mylar in my room this morning, and I bought a can of aerosol label spray (glue), cut my sheets to size, sprayed wall, let it set about 10 seconds, rolled mylar on perfect with a window squeege to keep wrinkles out. Worked beautifully.
Well it sounds like you have the idea behind timing the cycle. You simply cut more clones then you need and veg more plants then you want to take into flower. You only take the best of the plants in veg to the flower room.

It will take time to get the cycle down, each plant grows a little different but you will learn that.

You have the idea but there will be problems.

We are here to help you when you do so don't stress.

Pictures help as well when you have problems with your plants.

Start your own thread so it's easer to keep track and polite as well, hijacking some elseā??s thread is not cool. (not saying you did at all just in the future is all)

I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Welcome to the board too btw.
Zandor Reviewed by Zandor on . ZANDOR ... clone question Zandor, I've read your Cloning 101 post, etc., but I need a definitive answer as to 'when' to cut clones from the mother ... I have read some posts claiming to take the clone two weeks BEFORE flowering, and others saying two weeks AFTER flowering begins, which is correct ? ... thanks in advance ... :smokin: Rating: 5
