I've been on both for a few years, doesn't seem to bother me.

Yea, same here and I'm also on Depakote as well.
Talks from around here is saying that welbutrin + shrooms = longer lasting.

Also.. I stopped taking my medication. It's been many months and I don't get any 'depression attacks' that I'm pretty sure you're familiar with.
Perhaps the medication was only useful back when I was in middle school? I remember feeling great when I took the meds but then I stopped cause I thought I was cured and started feeling horrible again. Took them again and felt good again.

(I'm in college now) If I stopped taking meds months ago and have not returned to my depressed state, perhaps I've outgrown them? Maybe I needed the meds to control teenage problems rather than a permanent depression problem that I might've inherited from my father's side of the family.

Anyway, smoking weed while off meds is also the same as while I was on the meds. I've also talked to my doctor about pot and welbutrin/depikote and she said there isn't any problem at all and absolutely nothing will happen. I don't know what will happen if you smoke pot while you're having a depression attack though. I don't get those anymore so I can't be of help. But I wouldn't recommend it, you would probably get paranoid to no end.

This is coming from a long time experienced welbutrin/depikote user and info from a doctor. I'm sure my info can prove to be very helpful.

p.s. dont ever take your meds before you go to sleep or you will have trouble sleeping. Take your night meds at 7pm. Lots of people including my sister and I made the mistake of taking them before bed time and I would stay up for hours...
Your medicine container might tell you to take it before bed time but that's fucking bullshit and I have no idea why they would say that. Even my doctor said I should take it at 7-8pm. This is important info so I hope it helps.

Ive been tokin forever and infact im blown right now and i take welbutrin everyday. Doesnt do shit. I thinkthat anti-depressants though make you a little more paranoid than others, but thats just my experience. But ive been smoking while on those pills for almosyt a year now. Its perfextly fine.

You don't think it's doing anything, but, think of your heart. :smokin:

An adverse effect of Wellbutrin is tachychardia, whereas Pot has bradycardia and tachychardia effects. That's tacking on too many tachychardias and you're gonna have a heart-attack.
