    Slug pellet's will leech into the soil and hurt your plants. If they're in pots then put the pots on jagged stones, if they're straight in the ground the wrap a bit of copper wire (make sure to strip the plastic) around the stem a few inches up, not too tight though!

    What strain you putting out? I'm going for Purple #1 myself.

    Hey uk peeps, dont normally post but this thread seemed interesting. For all you guys growin outside in the uk: are there any special stains that do particularly well in our shitty weather? one of you mentioned purple, is that because it does well in the cold or cuz its a cool colour?? and also, how many of you guys are gonna plant in you back gardens and how many are gonna plant in some unused land somewhere?

    plants go purple when its cold, purple strains r good for UK, so our Lowryders and any Sativas cos they end quicker

    it all depends really dont water too much tho, just when it needs it judge by the soil, humidity of the day.

    if u plant near a ditch or stream,river or such u do not really need to water unless u wanna add sum nutes every now and then

    im outting out aload of free seed from uk hemp expo aswell as a couple of feminised mazar and maybee an early girl

    There are quite a few good strains for the UK climate, Biddy Early's good, Durban Poison, Passion #1, Holland's Hope etc.

    I'll be growing in a secluded area reasonably near by.

    If you want advice from some real experts head over to the forums on www.uk420.com those people know what they're talking about.
