When you look at anything you can probably see it or you don't. But can you see the borders of your vision. You can never see the blackness between your eye and your eyesocket. That's because your eye won't turn as bad, and because trough your pupil you can't see everything. But you don't mind/see/feel the darkness that's outside the borders of your vision right?

Now, assuming when you're dead you're also brain dead, your brain is switched off and all impressions and senses have come to a stop. The blackness I just talked about is the only thing that you "see" or feel, which is absolutely nothing.
