I read somewhere online that until the plants are in their final containers, a good rule is to transplant when the youngins are as tall as their containers.

I transplanted mine out of starter cups when the plants were 5-6", just about as tall as the cup itself and the plants had a few sets of 3 and 5 blade leaves.

They went into 3 gallon homes.
Good luck.

I'm not the most computer savvy person in the world I'll admit, so forgive me but I've heard a few opinions on transplanting. One was to put seedlings right into a 3 gallon container and another to put seedling into 6" pot. I put them into a 6" pot. Now I can tell when a houseplant needs to be repotted because of the roots sometimes sticking out of the bottom of the pots and the plant size, but I read on here that you can Rating: 5
