I think it's the HighSchool Counselors that are to blame.

Faced with up-coming deadlines from 4th year graduation, and hundreds of kids needing "advice" on what to study, these counselors just send the kids out... "Pick whatever you want boy..."

PLUS: Cops love publicity. And we all know that cops, in general, are stupid.

When this is coupled with stupid citizens, we've got a stupid society.

I think the police weigh the plants wet, with leaf, roots, residual soil etc. They calculate how many grams then multiply that figure with the top dollar price of one gram. It makes them look better and the grower look worse.
