    How do Helicopters detect plants outside?

    Is it the heat they give off and its detected by infrared?

    i believe it is the lights used when growing which causes the heat and is detected by infrared. i would assume that it wouldnt show if you grew in your basement, but if its a top level room, yeah.

    yeah i know it will detect grow lights in homes but I was wondering how it is they Can find them or detect them outdoors unless there is like a large mass of plants together...

    Erm... helicopters dont detect plants outside. Neighbours do that for ya.
