All of the above, I think. Some ways of making LSD also make iso-LSD, which if not seperated competes for receptor sites in the brain. And doses are down, I need no chemistry to tell that much.

Then in 1993, the trips I got off acid changed dramatically- less intense, not nearly as euphoric. Later, I come to find out that the feds made it difficult to get the precursors to make LSD and chemists switched to making LSA and selling it as LSD around 1992 or 1993.
