Ok, now assume he knows nothing about curing, and is just a total idiot, he's having problems getting it to smoke, and asks you what to do, or if you know.

now assume you told him you knew nothing about it, then he offers to sell it thinking it's no good. you give hima ridiculously cheap ammount for it, cure it and have up to a lb. of good wonderful bud... and he sold you the whole thing for 50 dollars...

if you knowingly lie, just to get the plant for cheap as fuck, is that stealing....

It's not stealing persay, more like taking advantage of some mindless sap. It is his fault, but at the same time, a cruel and evil person takes advantage of his ignorance. I would at least give him some bud at a really cheap price without reason. If he asks, just tell him you guys are tight so you're giving him a deal. The guilt should go away, or at least subside for the time being.
