Hello Emerica , I can totally understand you wanting to give them a good indoor start before placing them outside.
My first grow was an outdoor one, the seeds were started indoors about half way through April and because I didn't have a light and they sat in the window sill untill the end of the first week of May, then they were transplanted outside.

They did do a bit of streching in the window but I just put some sticks in for support. Once outdoors then nature just takes over and soon the sticks could be removed.
Just my thoughts, give them 2 -3 weeks indoors under you're light and if the weather conditions are ok get them outside in a sunny area and just watch them go .
