put the buds in the freezer (a few at a time) for no more than 5 minutes ~BE SURE THEY DON'T FREEZE~ remove then gently shake them over newspaper or whatever's handy to catch everything that falls off, in case a flower or two breaks off, then gently run your hose-type vacumn over the buds without touching to remove any hanger-ons. this will remove most without any chems...save them for after they're separated from all greenery and don't forget to put a squirt into the vacumn so they don't get out (and it takes very little once in the tank).

this is also good for bringing in the outdoor harvest if heavily infested at harvest and will also bring out those hidden caterpillers that seem to hide in every grow i do...even tho they're caught at trim time.
