Co2 revisted

I've done a search and read many threads on Co2. Unfortunately, money is tight right now and also I can't find the thread I was reading (newb):thumbsup: . Could someone counsel me on a cheap way of adding co2 until I have enough cash? Here is some facts about my setup:

1. 10 plant drip system (Rockwool, nutrients etc.)
2. 400 HPS and a 65/500 Flourex flood light (first light i bought.went cheap on light I know, then realized I needed HPS
3. Grow space is a closet with a door on each end (Length 9.5 feet, Height 8ft)
4. Other equipment I have is a humidifier and an air filter/ionizer

*Note-Still waiting on shipping for lights and seeds

I know there are other things I need but will buy them soon. Any advice is appreciated

I don't know if this stuff really works, but at least it will bring your ph level down if your water needs that kind of treatment. I bought a new product at "Pet World" called, "Liquid Acid Buffer" It claims on the cover of the bottle it converts Alkalinity into CO2 @_@ If it's ok for fish and plants I would hope it's ok for my garden to bring down the ph level. It goes a long way for 12 dollars .

Don't forget like I did to set up your room so that your light is ventilated separatly from and to outside your grow area. You will also need to have all ventalation turned off while the co2 is on. This is a big concern when designing your setup.

I thought I would just add co2 later when I could afford it, not researching it first. If you don't want co2 to be a complete waste of time and money the lights need to be on and ventilation needs to be off when co2 is on. I really wish someone would have told me this a few years ago. Now I want to add it, but I have to tear my setup completely apart, including the wall behind the grow area.

A really cheap and nasty way to create co2 is to put brewers yeast 1 table spoon sugar one cu into a to litre bottle add water, put a ballon on it and put a pin hole in the ballon will slowly in flate as co2 is released just shake every day
