The name may be a misnomer, but emo still exists. Also, I'm quite certain emo stands for emotive. As for my opinion on emo (which I know no one has asked for it) is that it sucks ass.

Well the answer is this... emo is from the word emotional, as in emotional music right, ppl classed as emo's typically listen to what is considered emotional music but... all music is emotional, the purpose of any type of music is to stir an emotion, be it happiness, sadness, anger, hate, love etc. so therefore no-one can be called an "emo" simply because everyone listens to emotional music, music is the embodiment of emotion, everything from Britney Spears to Nirvana to Beethoven (dunno if thats spelt right lol) so therefor.....

i don't know what an emo really is... but this makes me hate them already... if they truely are people who basicly had everything they needed, and still act all depressed and blah blah.. yea fuck them... i know someone like that, well knew online... he came from miami... and tries to make it out like some people aren't poor, i tell him the things i dont' have that he has and he calls me a liar. supposedly he found a website that gave all the property values for my area... tried to convince me this house is worth atleast 75,000 and that if we didn't have money we wouldn't be living here... there's not a house within a mile of here worth more than 25 or 30...
