yea i know that, it's not the fact that i don't see how music could induce emotion, it's the fact that i don't really have that much emotion for anything, usually i just listen to music because i hate silence, or because i'm bored, or because it trips me out when i'm high. godsmack however, does make me want to get up and fight.. it can bring out the anger in me.... very easily sometimes....

yeah Godsmack kick ass, dont have too much of their stuff myself, but a workm8 of mine was real into godsmack and gave me some stuff on disc, good stuff

From the kids awalking around in all black, wearing only "emo" clothes, and always being "depressed" about bullshit, which is why they have earned such lable. well if we're on the subject of labels, technically that would make you a "computer geek", not that thats bad, i quite often take out my frustrations in a game, but much prefer to write a song about whats troubling me, thats just my way of dealing with lifes many problems.

i get that, but some ppl have mistaken me for a goth just because i wore black clothin, not like big coats or anything like that, just a black sleeveless shirt, like a t-shirt but but ya know a shirt with buttons (wore it open with a t-shirt underneath), and black trousers and white trainers, and ppl would ask me "whats with the goth gear?" and i was like "wtf i'm not wearin goth stuff, just happens to be black clothing" lol, i just hate labels and stereotypes, theres more to a person than the category they fall into. :rasta:

yeah I agree that the word Goth is over used.....and very unapropriate in some cases...so what some people like to wear make-up and black....that doesnt really mean they are a goth, does it.

But imo labels are shit!! people shouldn't see people for what they wear and just judge them on that.....people should be allowed to wear what they want and not be judged by it...

i know someone is thinking well surly they wear that because they want to be labeled and put in a certain category.....but maybe they just like the clothes?

and yeah there are people who wear clothes to fit in with the "in" crowd.....but hey people should just ignore people who do this....it's their choice and they shouldn't be given shit for this........if you get what i mean....
