Hello KHAN, earlier you mentioned that a photo had been taken under UV light. what type UV is it? i use UV-B during flower. -david zap.

To be honest dont know what type of UV it was, I borrowed it off a fellow grower

just read your thread from the start and ive noticed you have the same set up as me, i really like using nft cos its so easy to use, but ive noticed that on one of my trays in my flower room, where the solution flows onto the tray my roots are starting to turn brown. ive got plenty of oxygen in there as well as liquid oxygen so i no it cant have any thing to do with that. i was just wondering if you have every had this problem with your trays, hope u can help cos i cant think of why my roots are doing this.

Cant help too much this is my first grow so not much exp. I cant check my tray atm because they're sleeping but i'll have a look tomorrow see if any of mine are.

Light kills the roots, I have only sneaked a peak out of the corners twice to check the nutrient is going in ok is there any chance light could have hit them?

I read a thread about roots dying it said put some liquid oxygen in there and take off the dead root matter, maybe the oxygen is stopping more developing for you but the dead roots are still there maybe infecting surrounding matter.
