White Lighters- Bad luck?

I gave my brother my white lighter last night and as soon as he saw it he says they're bad luck. Anyone ever here of this? I'm not superstitious or anything, just curious.imp:

I dont know about a white lighter being bad luck, but bad luck is a lighter that is out of fluid when you need it.
