if your christian, and believe god has his will and no one will stand in between him and his willl, why both praying? or why bother even thinking of praying? whatever is going to happen is going to happen.

there are only two ways of looking at this, he knew better then to steal the 4 wheeler, so it's his fault, and his fault alone.. or.... you can blame it on the drugs, in which case he needs to quit everything, weed included, until he can grasp on reality and learn not to do things he knows he shouldn't. no matter how you look at it, it's his fault, and it's his problems, problems he needs to fix, problems that can only be fixed if he, and he alone makes the effort to change... if it means he needs to be locked up (if he's about to be 18, he's not going to some juvi, he's going to jail or prison....) to see that his actions have consequences then so be it, he needs it...

sometimes you have to hit rock bottom, before you realize you need to change, and sometimes, even if you love someone, you have to LET them hit rock bottom, for instance, when you've tried everything else, whether it be supporting them in trying to change, or trying to force them to change... sometimes they just have to hit the very bottom, to realize they need to change.... i did...
