drunk and cannabudder

So, I smoked a quarter of some mid-grade yesterday, had money for some more, but the town was pretty dry, so my friend convinced me to buy vodka, and get drunk. I had never been drunk before. I had been tipsy in the past and stuff, but I've never actually been drunk. Anyway, so, we get some vodka and mountain dew, and we are at my friends house mixing drinks, but we have to go back to my house, so during the car ride home, I keep taking shots and then chasing it with mountain dew. We go into my garage, and when I stand up to piss I realize that I am the most fucked up I've ever been. More "impaired" than cannabis. I then came to the conclusion that I like pot better because it makes you feel good, spaced and zoned out, but still be able to act normal, and feel good in the morning, which brings me to this point.

I wake up in the morning and I'm starving. I hadn't eaten yesterday so my stomach was empty. I realize I have no pot, but I want to get high, so I take my glass bowl which has been smoked through alot, and decide to do a little experiment. I am familar with getting the resin out of glass bowls by cleaning them, by boiling them in water in the microwave, so I decided to try and make cannabutter.

I place about 4 large scoops of country crock spread which is margarine or whatever in a large glass and put in my bowl in there and start the microwave. All of a sudden my kitchen begins to smell like weed hardcore. I could just smell it so good, so I wait for it to cool down, cook an english muffin, and then douse the english muffin in the cannabutter that I made and ate it. I could taste and smell the THC so bad, like when you smoke out of a homemade alluminum foil pipe and then smell the resin, it just had a really strong smell...

So, I was wondering if this method will in fact get me high. It's been about 10 minutes and I'm still not feeling any different.
I'm also wondering how this will be different than smoking it. I've only smoked it before.

Why do you mix drinks with Vodka? Sorry, I'm not a drinker so I wouldnt know but I would like to take the shots straight up...even if I do try some vodka I would just try to get used to the taste and take the shots straight up.

well, at first we just mixed the drinks so we wouldn't have to keep pouring shots and then chasing, plus it was my first time drinking hard liquor. After that, I was just drinking straight out of the bottle, which tasted horrible, so I chased it with mountain dew from the bottle...
It was the most fucked up I've ever been. I prefer weed, but I realized that marijuana should be legal if anything, and alcohol should be illegal, cause it fucks you up hard and impairs you, and I couldn't walk straight or concentrate or anything.

that is the dumbest idea ever you're probably not gunna get high and it takes at least an hour for it to work

Well, i dont think it will work, you need quit alot of THC to get high from eating, although it may very well work, depends...

Tbh, i wouldnt wanna smoke let alone eat the resin/tar/ash from a pipe.

And im glad you have now tried alcohol, and decided to stick with weed.

I'd much rather have my kids smoking skunk than drinking alcohol.

If you had ever tasted vodka then you wouldn't say that. Its sooo disgusting. I hate it. No matter how many times you drink it you'll never get used to it and be able to fully tolerate it. Its terrible.

Not really... well, I don't really know for sure... See, about four hours after I ate it, my body felt MILDY VERY MILDY high, similar to whenever I've smoked indica weed, but right after that I smoked a bowl, so if the cannabudder worked, I couldn't tell because I decided to just get high by smoking....
Next time I get some weed I'll try making it the right way. I've heard the high is so different and lasts much longer, that I'm anxious to try it.
