Got a new bulb

WoooHooo, got a bulb for my ladies finally, its not a hps conversion like I kept asking about on here. I came across a 400w mh AGROSUN GOLD that gives off light like a hps. But I do still have a Q ...lol.. Has anyone used one of these before? How much red does it give off, it doesnt say, just says 40,000 lumens. It says its the brights warm mh made...You wont believe how I got it ...lol There wasnt no price on it and there was 2 more on the shelf and beside it was 250 mh bulds for sale but all gone so i slid the other bulbs like mine over under the other price tag..lol..$24.59 and walked up to the counter ...lol...she called price cheak and this punk kid came up and looked at the box and took off , came back and said $24.59.....SWEET...and now I got a bulb..:thumbsup: ..was $69.99....was is the KEY word there...lol...can some one help a honky out.....peace

Plants look different now, color wise. Leaves perked up under the different bulb also. Same temp as befor also....peace

i hope it wasn't a mom and pop store that you robbed! i'm a small business owner myself and it really sucks to get robbed when you barely make payroll every week anyway. i am not judging you but the karma of growing with a stolen bulb could really end up fucking your grow.(all males or hermies for example) good luck!

Luck? lol..I think not...it was a big chain, Alsip home and nursery, and just to let you know , i didnt rob any one the price cheak boy didnt do is job. 250W and a 400W r different...Any way the stock boy could of messed up ...lol u never know ..lol $70 is to much for a bulb anyway....I bet you it takes like $1.75 to make them over seas anyway...lol

it's all good. the big chains rip everyone off anyway(higher prices/inferior product) call it what it is though, if you purposefully switched a label or bulb to get it cheaper than it was suposed to be that's is robbing. if it was an honest mistake that's a different story. as i said it's all good. the only question is "is the karma you incurr worth the $45 you saved?" please don't take my posts the wrong way, i am not saying you're a thief or anything, people just don't think about the effects of karma when they do things sometimes and still others just don't care. best of luck with your new bulb and i may all your buds be big and stinky!

WOW, no one out of 52 views knows anything about this bulb? Well i guess ill keep you guys posted then on how much it makes a difference....peace

You have a bulb that adds the color spectrum of a HPS (full spectrum). Thats the answer you already knew though. I have a Hortilux bulb, and it is basically the same thing you have, except that it runs on a HPS ballest and it adds the MH spectrum to the HPS bulb.
