bong - yes having a kid made me realize how fast my days are passing me by, when i say it seemed like yesterday i smoked my first joint, maybe it seemed like a year ago, when i say it seemed like just yesterday i had my first fishing trip, maybe it seemed like 2 years ago, but when i say it seems like just yesterday my nearly 1 1/2 year old son was born, i mean it seems like just YESTERDAY.... and now that i have a kid, all the days and all the weeks just seem to kind of 'merge' i have to check the calanders, just to know hwat day i'm on now... i don't even really know anymore.. everything has just kind of merged.... three days into one, one day into three....

ben, i really hope you know hwat you're up for, those first few months (which i practicly was the only one seeing to his needs during those months) are hell, and i mean literally hell.... no sleep, built up frustrations, both normal life and sexual between you and your wife/gf.... it's just hell..... i've wanted to have kids since i was really young (8-9?) but i was never prepared, and nothing anyone can tell you will ever truely prepare you for parenting...
