ever sit back and notice how fast time has slipped by you? i mean it seems to me just yesterday i was 13 and smoking my first joint, or just yesterday i was 5 and on my first fishing trip.. this has been bugging me lately... when i was younger all i could think about was getting older, now that i'm older, all i can think about is...well getting older.. .i've never been able to picture myself old, i don't think i'll live much longer (i'm not suicidal), i just can't see myself old... where has all the years gone? anyone experiencing this weird phenomenon where it seems liek your life is on fast forward, and every day is going by 5-6x as fast as it did when you were 15???

yeah people say it keeps happening at a more rapid pace, like when you're a kid the summer seems to last for years whereas when you get older time passes more and more rapidly so like by the time you hit twenties whole years go by in the blink of an eye. when you get past 60 whole decades go by that quick.
i'm 20 how old are you?

everyone dies man, this life is soooooooooo short.
you really are going to die your own personal death, and i'm gonna die mine, and it's a pretty short ride even if you make it to a pretty old age.
i definitely like to try to remind myself of that as often as i can so i can choose to be happy with every second that i get here on this planet. if every moment of your life is a choice, of whether or not to be happy with the moment you are experiencing in the present, the true moment of your being alive, why wouldn't you choose happiness?
You know, it's a sad nature of thoughts but it's worth it for the enjoyment of your quality of life right now.

Dude, I can't even beleive how much time has flew. It was just 99 yesterday (when I graduated). It seems like over night I've grown up. What will really get you is getting up with a friend you haven't seen in a while and they have a kid that's walking and talking and going to pre-school. Makes me feel older than shit. I'm sure time isn't gonna slow down any more and it depresses me to think of getting older. Knowing that eventually the people I love are gonna start dying off one by one is torture. I'm not affraid of dying myself, but the thoughts of loosing everyone I love just kills me sometimes. But oh well that's life. I just have to try and live a good one.

Its true life does slip past you at a faster rate as you get older. I'll be 29 in June and it seems like I shouldn't even be this old yet. I look back and notice the chance I had and I never took, or risks I wished I would have taken. I guess you truly have to live life for the moment. You never truly know what will come to be, I could die right here right now as i type, I could die in 10 years, or even a few decades. I'll die when I die plain and simple. I try my best to live life for the moment, but I don't allways suceed.
