    RUNNING LIGHTS TOO LONG?

Greetings, i was just wondering out of curiosity if it would be detrimental to a plant if it were exposed to more than 18 hours, upto 24 hours per day. Either state? Thank you.

some growers veg under 24 hours, and swear by it ... I agree with the experts and botanists that say a plant needs those dark hours to assimilate nutes, and grow ... whoever's right, I grow 18/6 and 12/12, always have, see no reason to change ... :smokin:

i always used 24/0 lighting schedule for vegg with excellent results. then i would switch to 18/6 for a week or 2 then to 12/12. everyone has there own methods that work for them. over time you will figure out what works best for your set-up.

It would probally be best to have some twilight hours. But that's just personal opinion based on nothing.

    RUNNING LIGHTS TOO LONG?

I was wondering the same thing. I have a buddy that was growing 24/0 and it flowered under low light intensity. June 21 is the equinox so the day length is decreasing after that anyway which induces flowering. I think vegging at 24/0 will work. You could try to increase the day length starting at 12/12 untill you put them outside which should give you the longest veg. growth and largest size if you have good light intensity and are not worried that they will have time to mature fully. I guess that it would depend on whether that particular strain would have the time to finish properly at your lattitude under outdoor only conditions

just use 18/6 or 24/0 till the go outside. if you start at 12/12 and increase light hours as bro said all you will do is confuse the shit outta the plants till the go hermie imo.

just figure your dawn-to-dusk hours ... about 13 right now where I am located ... sooo, indoors at 18 hours, if they went outside now, that should trigger flowering ... simple ... :smokin:
