After a series of stories in WorldNetDaily about cops go into bars to arrest drunks â?? some of whom are guests in hotels who don't plan to drive anywhere â?? Texas officials responsible for "Operation Last Call" have stopped the controversial practice in the state.

As WorldNetDaily reported, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission along with Irving police arrested some 30 people on charges of public intoxication on a weekend last month during a sweep of 36 area pubs.

The agency called it a proactive measure to slam the brakes on drunk driving, even though some of the suspects arrested at a hotel bar stressed they were registered to spend the night there and were not a danger to themselves or others

Hope you have better luck with tequila than me, everytime I drink that shit I'm told the next day of running around the bar with my pants off! I quit drinking that stuff over 6 years ago!:smokin:

LOL Just waitin til after lunch for a cold one here. The kids will be at Grandmas and the wife's at work. I usually stick with beer these days. I have a couple of bottles from a local microbrew and some domestic stuff. I really like a good hefeweisen as well as SOL. When I do drink liquor, it's Jack.

The wife and I did bring home some wine when we got out of the Army and came home. We have some gold label ice wine from Germany and a few other decent wines. I don't really care for one but it's nice to drink with the wife. I already drank the cases of cognac I brought home. lol

If you must get drunk, don't drink at a bar. lol. Buy a 12 pack at your local shithole beer distributor and drink in the privacy of your own home. That way we won't have any problems of cops trying to arrest you at a bar and less drunks on the roads.

Just imagine what life would be like though if everyone smoked weed and no one drank man made alcohol. Be a lot more enlightened and peaceful!

LOL actually God made booze through the natural fermentation process. Man just found other ways to get the job done.

I happen to drink at home 99% of the time and rarely even get buzzed let alone drunk.

Sorry, alcohol is a man made drug like coke and heroin, and one of the most lethal I must point out! Should never even be around! Cannabis comes straight from the ground, ready for use to be enlightened...no fermentation or whatever.

It makes us cannabis people and the movement look very bad when people smoke weed and drink. Both of my parents were alcoholics so I know what alcohol can do.

Funny since alcohol kills 50,000 people a year just by itself and it is legal to use...cannabis has never killed anyone in recorded history and it is illegal and equated with heroin. The establishment fears the enlightening properties of cannabis.
