Tornadoes in Iowa City I go to the University of Iowa obviously, but last night a huge storm just blew up out of nowhere and had 3 tornadoes come down on Iowa City. The Old Capitol which is where the University is located had a tornado go right next to a residence hall and one went right behind my apartment. A bunch of buildings right behind me are destroyed, trees pulled straight from the ground, cars destroyed, powerlines and gas lines broke. It was insane last night. Rating: 5
