Howdy Shelbay,

Instead of keeping you away from the guns, yer husband should be training you in their safe use. And if you have any children,10 years old or more, they should be trained in the safe and responsible use of firearms as well. Back in the frontier days, the whole family participated in their self-defense,even if it was just to load the ammo and pass a gun onto their husbands and fathers. The same holds true for survival skills too, everyone inthe family, should know how to start a fire, several different ways,as well as construct a shelter and provide safe water and food, basic first-aide,should be taught as well. All Americans, should be more self-reliant and capable of doing these things..in my humble opinion.

Have a good one ! :stoned:
