alright, well, im going to concert tomorrow and im not sure whether or not i wanna be sober. im totally dry but im assuming theres gonna be plenty of weed at the show. My question is, is it a good idea to smoke somone elses weed, i mean i really dont know what im getting. i read a story on erowid about someone who thought he was smoking pot when it was really opium and he had a shit time. does opium smell similar to pot, or what? im faily experienced with pot and obviously know what it smells like, but are any drugs similar enough that i wont know the difference until the high? any thoughts would be appreciated.

Opium smells quite different from weed, and would be a bitch to smoke in a joint. Probably the most likely drug to be found on a joint would be PCP, but that has a very noticable chemical smell/taste. Relax.

man do peoples shit really get laced this much without getting told? I've bought from many many different dealers and never once had shit laced. Especially without some kind of extra cost.

Hahaha its just a Myth.......Weed doesnt get laced with anything. People often say shit like this at big events when people have there first toke on skunk and they go white.

Believe me you could go around that concert and take one toke off everyones spliff and you would be just fine, you might be very very blitzed but fine all the same.

I would say the biggest risk is finding a joint made with rubbish hash that has bootpolish in it.

Why the great fear that people's weed is going to be laced?

Very unlikely - only chemical that would work (economically for the drug dealer or chemically possible) would be PCP like mentioned above including the chemical signals that would go off.
