Here is what I have decided.

I plan on using a 4 bulb with flourscent with cool-whites for my plants after seed germination. Rockwool will be used to grow the seedlings in.

Then I plan to transfer the smaller rockwool container to a larger one for more growth, and finally to the Rockwool strip for final growth. I will be using hydroponics, not soil. Seems you have better control over the conditions, and exactly what your plant gets, and when. I will soak my cubes to prepare before I seed or transplant to them. I understand seedlings need a pH of about 5.5.

Next, for flowering I will use a 400 Watt MH light for the flowering stage. I plan on installing adequate ventilation, and also installing a dehumidifier in order to control RH. Also will be using a combo pH, TDS monitor to check those conditions as well.

After flowering I will switch lights and put a HPS in there to finish the grow. This may or may not be the best, and I am somewhat confused on this part, so all suggestions are welcome.

I am going to purchase a CO2 system with automatic control sensor that keeps it from injecting during dark periods, and monitors the level as well and injects as needed to maintain the 1500 PPM I am looking to maintain.

Lights and exhaust will of course all be on timers and it will just be a matter of me documenting the data and tweaking it out to optimize the grow. I am also buying one of the monitors that checks the data 24 hours per day and then you can download into Excel on your PC to graph what is exactly happening and when. That should provide very good information.

So, when all said and done I figure around 2K to have exactly what I need, and I am off to growing myself bud for many years to come I certainly hope.

Peace all,
