The Gospel of Judas
Happiness is a state of consciousness caused by chemicals in the brain which are activated when we have achieved our goals and desires, and which are not present when we sense danger or have unfulfilled goals and desires. Evolutionarily speaking, this is clearly a very beneficial trait to have, wouldn't you say?

Itwas and felt like, much more than just a simple survival instinct to protect my 'young'.
You've been watching too many of those kooky ghost hunting shows haven't you? Well, if you honestly think you can prove a paranormal event has occurred under proper observing conditions in which the possibility of cheating is eliminated, you can win yourself $1,000,000.I have seen and felt much, that can only be explained as being outside of the normal realm,it was para-normal. If we can detect these para-normal events with magnetometers, thermal imagers and temperature probes..how can any scientist discount such ?

I don't think I have an immortal soul. It looks like just wishful thinking to me. Death is scary, and people want to think they will live forever, even if their body dies. That's what keeps belief in the afterlife alive. But there just isn't any empirical evidence to believe that there is anything after death. It seems our personalities and our memories are encoded in an organ called the brain. They are damaged when the brain is damaged. It also looks like they decompose when the brain decomposes. It's not much of a beginning to convince you that you indeed have an immortal soul, but it's a start. My back is about to reach it's limit,so I won't be on much longer,I look forward to yer responses though and will git back to ya soon.
