I must say that ALL the books of the bible are the person who wrote thems interpertation. Meaning that me and torog can be writing about john mowing the yard. I may see that John is unhappy mowing the yard, but Torog may see that John is enjoying himself mowing the yard. Get what I'm trying to say? I cant agreethat it is all true. Maybe things were wrote down with the wrong meaning?
But I am not an athiest...Just the person I am makes me feel like I have to believe there is something out there. Like life just can't be this meaningless void to just live and die and that be that? I've been through a lot of hard times in my life, and if everything I went through was in vain, I would be better off dead right now.

Atheists don't believe life is meaningless. We just recognize that meaning is a human construct. Something is meaningful to us only because we perceive it as such. There is no intrinsic "purpose" for an electron, a rock, a black hole, or DNA. This only means that we are free to define the meaning of our own lives, to choose what we want to live for and to live for it. I can't imagine why anyone would want their whole life to be for some purpose set down by somebody else before they were born. I'd rather define the purpose of my own life than be a slave to a purpose bestowed on me by some invisible dictator of the univers.

i was watching this show today where they decode the code of the bible after the event happened they found out it was all in the code of the bible but to find out about the future it is a most difficult task since the event hasnt happened

or like that other show where probably god wasnt the one that lead them all and that the aliens might have taken a good role during those ancient times.

I think that's the point behind his gospel, to suggest it was all a plan between him and Jesus, and therefore he wasn't actually 'snitching'...

Although, I still wonder if this gospel has any merit. Why would he still hang himself if this gospel is true?
