I don't think it's about 'fear' of rejection...I think if he moves to fast, and outright asks her, it might make things wierd, and maybe even effect their friendship. That is, if she's not really into him.

I don't know, I'd rather just kick it with her like he's doing, look for signs, and wait for the right moment to make his move. If she's not into him at the present, things could certainly change if he continues to hang out with her.

I ended up with quite a few 'girlfriends' this way, which wouldn't have happend had I made my move before it was time. It's almost like a cat waiting for the right moment to pounce on its prey. :smokin:

On the other hand, if you wait too long, someone else may come along and take her from you, lol! Damn birds!

Either way it's a risk, and you'll have to dicide for yourself which is one has better odds.
