    More cloning questions.

Does anyone have photos of a plant while being cloned? I have a sweet hydro going that looks beautiful and would like to keep her around, this being my first need to clone a plant I want to make sure I don't butcher the thing. How much of the host is needed to clone successfully? Can you simple snip a leave and place in Rockwool, or is a branch best? Thanks for you inputs, may the bud be with you.

zandor's cloning 101 will show you how to take clones, and cite precautions you should take...If you look in hydroponics, I have 3 threads on cloning...check out cloning directly to hydroton/bubbler.
    goodluck.

IF YA CLONE WHILE MOMMA IS FLOWERING, IT MUTATES FOR A BIT. I FIND IT TAKES TWICE AS LONG TO ROOT THAN IF MOMMA IS VEGGING. GOOD LUCK

cloning in flower does work though...the 1st time I did it in my homemade bubbler, cuttings took 10 days to root.

also remember that cuttings root much easier with low to no levels of nitrogen. flush/leach soil 5 days before cutting with pure ph'd water. For hydro: Change out rez solution 5 days before cutting with pure ph'd water. hope this helps. goodluck lw

I have successfully cloned after 21 day's of flower. The success rate was not as high as when I clone in the veg cycle but it still took.

Aero Cloning is the way to go though....imo
