Tell me something: On the side of the police cars it says "Serve and Protect". Now I can understand serving the public but in our cases was it really necessary to protect us from ourselves?

Howdy Psycho4Bud,

I hear ya man..I did a wise thing, going against convention and gittin a defender for a misdemeanor,I explained to him, that I'm 100 % disabled,my budget operates in the red and that if my back gits re-injured because of community service, that I'd have no choice but to sue the county and all persons involved, for millions of dollars. I wound up having to pay a fine and gittin 6 months on probation, with no reporting, just to set up the payment plan..if I accept the conviction.

I would love to argue the issue of being protected from myself,as I consider what I did-a victim-less crime. I would like to tell the judge and DA,that what they want me to do-which is take prescription narcotics to relieve my chronic pain and spasticity,as a slow death sentence..seems to me..that is cruel and unusual punishment..what say you ?

Have a good one !:stoned:
