I copied what I wrote from another thread. It seems I'm seeing a lot of foil lately...
One thing you could do to improve your light is to do the following...
When you get time, etc. Get some cheap flat white paint - can or spray.
Paint the pots white - it reflects better than foil.
If you deside to stay with the foil do this:
Turn your foil around to make the flat side show out. It reflect better than the shinny side. I read this info in The Cannibis Bible.

They are improving .get as much light as possible to them and you will be ok good differance from both pics(improvement)The postman.

Those 40w 4 feet fluorecents really do a number on them dont they. I use 4 of them and couldnt be happier, if you got a mix of cool white lights and warm white lights, I would suggest warm but would go cool if your area is steadily hot.

Edit :: Is it just me or do I not see a fan? Those stems were looking awfully thin, are you using a fan mate? If you arent you would much rather use one, you strengthn the stock and stem of your plants, making for a much stronger and healthier plant.

if you bend your plant you will have more bud sites, that will get big.
