Nobody is telling these kids the truth, so we as human beings can't lie to them anymore about this stuff. It also teaches them to stereotype and fear without good reason.

The following is something I lifted from an article I found on the D.A.R.E. website: A question that was not asked by this radio talk show host but usually makes its way into the agenda is one that brings in the question of tobacco vs. marijuana, i.e., ??Tobacco kills hundreds of thousands of individuals every year but nobody??s ever died of smoking pot.
