That test is complete bullshit. Anyone whos playes both of those games know that simpsons hit and run sucks donkey balls. Of course you're gonna see a bigger response in GTA. Simpsons H&R sucks too much to get any kind of response. of any kind. It's like comparing cigs to acid.
another bullshit article is
http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/fun.gam...eut/index.html
even thought the ESRB has done more work (and been highly praised for their efforts) to label games properly than any other form of digital entertainment, there are aparently some dumbasses who think a MA label with Sex and voilence isn't a big enough indication that the game isn't for little kids. Aparently they want every little morally wrong detail listed. Fucking idiots.I was gone for a while and now I\'m back.

"Anti-game activists were recently given some extra ammunition as a new study found that violent games can lead not only to aggressive behavior, but also increased willingness to drink alcohol, take marijuana (which itself is a gateway drug), or engage in unprotected sex."
lmao. what kinda shit is that, and yeah simpsons hit and run does suck. But just cuz i kill people on my ps2 dos'nt mean im gonna buy a gun and go shoot somene (and it dos'nt mean im gonna have unprotected sex) and how can video games make you "take" marijuana. People SMOKE marijuana out of freewill, they're just trying to make up shit excuses to ban video games. As well as try to make marijuana look bad. Gateway drug, god, they need to shut the fuck up.

Some people just see a growing industry that's gonna pass up movies soon and they just wanna do whatever they can to ruin the fun for others. If there are people out there that play games and want to do violent shit, it's just because they're retarted. And you shouldn't make fun of retarted people, they can't help it. Why would they do that? It's just mean. Assholes.

I don't really think anyone is going to care about this research.
It's just too stupid.
And yes, Hit and Run is horrible. I'd much rather play gta.
If studies have shown gta is hooking them more, that's only because it's a much better game.
duh people are reading Harry Potter instead of The Great Gatsby!
That's because kids would much rather read Harry Potter..Originally Posted by BlazinTreesX3
