hell yeah people saying shit like "you fucker I used to trust you" after they kill someone. You always kinda forget how easy it is for someone who seems so normal to snap. Reminds you to keep your eyes open.

i find these obituaries much more 'real' than real newspaper obituaries. and i find it disturbing, or at least startling, that they just have these big headlines right there that say things like "suicide #7". they're so specific and brutally matter-of-fact about the way each person died, it's creepy but kind of cool the way they don't tiptoe around the reality of it.

man that's some straight up unneeded shit. No one needs a death space. Jesus, that' so insensitive to me for some reason, and makes me hate myspace even more.

I think it gives people a chance to share their feelings and pay their respects,I think if people don't have anything nice to say they shouldn't say anything at all.I have always been interested in how people have died or why people have killed people.
Make the most of life you don't know how long you are going to be around.

okay yeah but they're only doing it the same way they did TOO MUCH of their communication even before the person died, through an impersonal online site that falls FAR SHORT of capturing what a person really is inside, or of being anywhere near appropriate for death. i have mixed feelings about it i guess, but now i'm thinking there is something totally fucked up about combining 'death' and 'myspace.'

recently three kids died at my college, in a small boating accident over spring break. for a few days there was a search party and it was uncertain whether they were dead or not. on myspace you were seeing people post stuff like COME BACK MAN and DON'T DIE ON US, it was so chilling and scary, people were so desparate. it was a weird mix of emotions, i thought you could feel the pain and humanity of the dead person's friends even through the superficiality of an online myspace profile (which is unusual, because normally i find real humanity to be the last thing people show of themselves on those sites). it also just struck me as profoundly sad that that is where we go now to mourn our dead.
