It wont work - the filament in the bulb will simply 'fizzle out' as soon as you switch it on, plus you could risk buggering up your desk lamp.
Your best bet would be planting them outside, either in your garden or as a guerilla grow.

Ok so heres my question i have a 120W plant grow light and im thinking of puting it there on my desk lamp that i listed above. is it ok will it cause a fire if i leave it over night while im asleep?
