Ive read that rain makes the best irrigation water. dig near a bottom of a hill, 4ft by 5ft hole, line it with plastic. and cover it to prevent evaporation.

Then poke 1 or 2 pinholes in the bottom area for a drip irrigation system. Finally take the cap off and it should keep the plants watered just enough. What do you guys think about this setup? Do you have any other home made systems that are cheap and easy to make like this you would recommend? Thanks in advance for the advice! Rating: 5
