Should street drugs be regulated and legalized?
For cannabis to be legalized the tobacco and alcohol corporations are going to have to bite the bullet and figure a way to get there hand in on it. Myself and others I know have used cannabis as an alternative to other hard drugs and especially cigarettes. My best friend was a hardcore alcoholic and he used pot hardcore to substitute the alcohol and then he weened himself down to a very moderate use of pot. Its a miracle drug and that isnt good for business.....
Face the facts boys!

Well, there's going to be a big drug market no matter what the laws are. Decades of prohibition have proven that the size of the drug market doesn't go down when the drug is made illegal. I think it would be better if all drugs were regulated in markets that are under the scrutiny of the public, instead of forced into underground black markets which only serve to provide criminal organizations with huge profits. That way people wouldn't get AIDS from dirty needles, eat poison mushrooms by accident, or blow themselves up in meth lab explosions.
