Why you don't mix Zoloft and weed.

So my first time ever smoking weed and I didn't really think it through...

After a long weekend of cleaning up at the local rodeo with my nephew. (Same age as me at the time which is 15) Well I had just recently dropped therapy as I hated the therapist and he was a complete dick and such and I had been researching Cannabis for a few months and had decided that I was interested in trying it. Well my nephew had been smoking for about a year or so and was also living with me at the time and I had supplied him with the tools and materials to make a really awesome bong.

Well the next Monday was labor day weekend and I had just got payed $75 for the work I had done that past weekend and was all ready to do it. I called up my nephew and explained my plans and he called up one of his friends and we bought some fresh ass KB. Well my neice (his cousin) caught wind of what was going on and took us by to pick it up and volunteered her house to be the place that I got high the first time.

So we strolled up to her house cool and calm and I gotta say I was nervous as hell. So we get inside and my nephew pulls out the sack and starts seperating shit while I go back to take a piss and I get back in and everything is ready. I told him to take the first toke since he had taken the time to build this kickass bong from scratch.

Here it came my turn... I take my first hit and it was pretty nice might I add. Now I must add that at the time I had been on Zoloft for about a couple weeks. Well after I took that one hit in it started. I could feel it already hitting my body and it was damn nice. In total I took about 3 hits max and in about 10 mins I was out of it. My nephew layed on the couch with his head wrapped in a blanket licking his lips like a damned idiot ( Cottonmouth ) and all of a sudden I get the bright idea to go beat on the door and yell police really loud. Well I did it and it was funny as hell because they freaked and also it was about time to go so my neice was like "Alright you guys get this shit put up before my brother comes home and I want you guys outta here." Well we are both stoned and we set there a min before I pick up one of her kittens and stick it in my backpack. To this day I have no idea what I was thinking but I had never laughed so hard in my life.

Now onto the major part about the Zoloft. Well the next morning I had to go to school and I hurt ALL OVER. It was crazy because my stomache felt like something was inside it trying to eat through it and ALL of my joints were so sore and it hurt just to be touched. I went home early that day and looked up Zoloft and learned that it wasn't smart to mix to two as it could be fatal.

It lasted about a week and then I was fine and to this day I am on Zoloft and I still smoke every now and then and it hasn't happened since. Also my alchhol tollerance is insanely low thanks to Zoloft. For new years eve my sister bought me and my girlfriend ( She was staying at my house for the week, mind you we were 16... ) a 6 pack of Smirnoff: Green Apple and I was a little off of it after about two bottles to just show you how low my tollerance is.

So there is my story and pretty much two stories in one. Any feedback is welcome and just a warning. I don't suggest mixing any perscription medication with weed or any other drug for that matter.

Well, it was your first time getting high, so yeah. I don't know about Zoloft being fatal, but I've been on Paxil for like three years for anxiety and depression, and before I was on the pills I'd get extremely paranoid when I'd smoke, but now, I don't get paranoid. Alot of people have pleasant effects with anti depressants and weed, it's hard to have a bad experience. I think I know the cause of your problem. It's because you had just started taking the pills. It takes at least a month for them to work right, I read that weed and paxil SUCK when you are coming on or coming off of Paxil... Well, good luck with everything man. Peace

Yeah I figured it could have been that since now I'm just fine. I never really get paranoid while smoking I just get really relaxed and go chill back in my room and watch whatever is on.:rasta:

Sometimes weed does give you a headache - if you dont get high but get a headache (or get a little stoned) youve either been smoking schwagg - brown crap - or soapbar, which is British hash. If you can even call it hash. Its mainly made of plastic bags, tyres, beeswax and dung.
Decent weed can give you a headache aswell, if its been grown with ferts and hasnt been flushed properly.

Nah I knew it was from all the laughing. I can easily say this had been some of the best weed I had ever smoked but I haven't been able to get ahold of anymore of it sadly but I got a friend who has got some bomb shit and is always in full supply. Easily oner of the best days of my life.
