VERY nice color on that female of yours, BigBudDaddy ... those leaves couldnt be more perfect, great color, no burnt tips from over-nutes ... she's a happy girl ... my project today is to add 4 more tubes ... for a carpenter, I am a great truckdriver ... I mis-figured my cabinet dimensions, and am lacking an inch or so for adding more 4-footers, so ... today, Im going to hang 4 more tubes, horizontally against the rear wall of the cabinet, facing inward towards the plant, just below the canopy ... then I will have twelve 4-footers (480 watts, 40,800 lumens, very little heat
) ... eight tubes above the plants, and four more at the rear ... then, to prevent the plant from growing into the backlights, I will just get in the habit of rotating my pots 1/4 turn every morning ... unconventional, but it is the only way I can squeeze them into the cabinet, and it will still give me unfettered access to all the plants from the front ... I think sometimes, I stick with flourescents just to be different
... tubes rock

Hy Image Reapper, since u have more years of experience growing as i have of age
, i was wondering if u could help me in a question about lights, is that ok??Well here it goes i´m reading everything i can get my hands on, and after space and money issues were figured out, i´m left with a hand full light options.
my growing space is a 2x2x4 feet box with mylar all the way (its the best i can get
4 i have a small house), will a 125w enviro light grow stage and another 125w enviro flower be enough for each cycle for about 4 plants???
Tks for ur time Image i hope somtime in the future i have some babies looking as good as yours....
By the way how tall do those babies usually grow????
Once again many tkx:rasta: :rasta:

It may not be my place to step in, but in my experience with tubes, do not let your girls get too tall. flower at about a foot or less. Im using about 195 watts of cfl, and it is not enough for 4 plants. I need more lights as it is. Im really hoping that I get at least 2 males so I can kill em. Flower em early dude.
I had some plants about Reaper's size a few years ago under fluoro tubes when I decided to flower and they ended up to be taller than me. I was real proud of some 6 foot tall plants, but the yield was next to nothing.

took this pic a few minutes ago ... you can see the 8 four-footers at the top, and the 4 new four-footers at the rear wall, facing in ... all are adjustable height, naturally ... these 'GE Kitchen & Bath' 40-watt T12 tubes are 3000k warm temp, rated at 3400 lumens apiece, according to the label ... total: 480 watts, 40,800 lumens  ... bought at WalMart, about $7 a pair, twin-lamp fixture another $9 ... :smokin:

regarding plant height, these Northern Lights/Cinderella 99 hybrids insisted on staying short and bushy ... I actually purposely stretched them to where they are now ... I kept the flouros 4"-6" above the plants for their entire grow ... I wanted some space to get my hands in there, and be able to inspect ... you gotta remember, I'm throwing the same lumens as a 400-watt HPS, into a 2'x4'x7' cabinet lined with Mylar ... all those plants know is " Help!!! I need some sunglasses !
"
this strain is supposed to be only 3.5 feet tall, on average, plus, I topped the growing tip when young ... the other three plants are a SAGE/Cotton Candy/NYCdiesel hybrid, and they're pretty short and branchy, too ... all are from "Joey Weed' , affordable seeds  ... www.hempdepot.ca  .... :smokin:

I have very little experience with those new CFL lamps ... I do have a big one for a seedstarter and veg booth, but thats something I just built, so I cant comment on it ... good luck, and remember each crop gets better than the last ... :smokin:

Hey reaper,
What kind of yield do you average out of such a setup?
I'm getting 4-5 ounces per grow under a 400W HPS in a Waterfarm with a 36" max height.

I guess I used to get an ounce or so per plant, ?? .. never weighed it, and I only kept the best buds ... but that was with less than half the wattage I'm running now ... this is my first time with anywhere near this many bulbs ... I jumped from 4 to 12 with this grow ... :smokin:
