According to the following article "only 34%" of the current residents in Nevada favor cannabis legalization measure on the november 2006 ballot. Given the fact very few people live in Nevada when compared to the rest of the USA, I think we can easily win the vote.

If we are going to get the legalization "ball rolling", we clearly need cannabis users to become residents in Nevada.....even if just long enough to register and vote in Nevada. Roomates are very easy to find online and the cost of living in Las Vegas, NV is suprisingly low compared to most big cities. If just ten percent of the all the cannabis users who are in favor of legalization register and vote in nevada we will surely win the vote.

Anyone not agree that the savings put away for a new car, a trip to amsterdam or even da's bar mitvahbration can be put on a temporary hold for the sake of USA cannabis legalization.

If we can get one state to legalize cannabis other states will be tempted to reap the tax revenue and criminal savings from the law change.

p.s. the law requires that people must register to vote a month before it is time to vote.

Its a nice idea, but considering the majority of people on this board are 21 and under, I dont think its gonna happen. Plus, are people really gonna throw away their job, uni etc just for the legalisation of cannabis?
Theres many things in the world that are more important than a bloody plant.

I would love nothing more than moving over there and voting, but I just moved down to FL within this last year and found work, so I won't be leaving anytime soon. Hopefully more people over there will get involved and make a difference I can't.

They only asked 625 people. Out of probably a couple million or more voters in Nevada. Besides it doesnt mention where they polled them at. For all we know, they could have polled them at like an anti drug conference or something.

I don't think any of us without ambitions to deal cannabis won't legalization held back again for a day let alone a few more years.

If you have the power, please do everything possible to aid Nevada's legalization ballot.

I'm pretty sure I saw an article on hightimes that was more accurate and said something like 50% wanted it legalized, I think it was still on the losing side but I'm sure come november there will be more for legalization.
