They use a readioative material to grow tobacco -it's called Polonium. Former Surgeon Generl Koop has spoken about this as a very dangerous additive - perhaps THE MOST dangerous aspect of smoking.

Before this stuff stared being used, lung cancer was relativly rare in smokers.

I've read reports that say countries that have started using Polonium to assist in growing pot have had a rise in the lung cancer of mj smokers - which has not been found to happen without it.

If you can find tobacco that is grown naturally,without Polonium 210, that would probably be safer - and likely hideously expensive.

I smoked for 17 years, and went to accupuncture for help. I don't know if it helped, but I stopped in the early 90's, and never smoked again.
