Help Please - Bud + Opium...

Hey all,
So there is a good good friend of mine who owns a substantial plot of land outside the city. He scattered P. somniferum seeds all over a few years back and each year now he has a field full of poppies. My question is what is the best way to smoke it with bud? I know how to extract and collect the resin from the poppy buds, but following that, how can it be mixed with the herb? Will it work to just grind a little poppy resin up, pack it in a bowl (bong) with buds and toke? Thanks for any suggestions...

ps - I would have put this in other psychoactives forum, but the point is to mix it with bud, thus the reason I posted here...

Yea i had some back in the day. first correction id like to make, is its not like smoking hash my friend, not even close, the tar resembles hash, but the buzz is far from it, but yea basically you boil your opium to make it more pure and get rid of waxes, plant material etc. but when the solution is cooling down like when u have the opium in the slugded, just let ur bud sit in it for a while then dry it out, just be careful as its hard to dose this way because ull wanna smoke a whole joint but chances are half way through ull be toasted so just becareful man, that stuff u can od easy on. anyways hopes this helps, if not just check out erowid, they have some procedures.
