I bet they just found a correlation between playing violent games and smoking weed, then misinterpreted the statistics, saying that factor A caused factor B without any proof. It's easy to find correlations like that, but it's much harder to prove causality. I'm guessing the statistics mean something else entirely. Like, for instance, it could be the case that people who listen to their uptight parents when they say violent video games are bad also listen to them when they say weed is bad. Or that people who smoke weed don't want to waste their high on lame-ass video games where you don't blow shit up. Statistical correlations mean nothing in and of themselves. Causality is everything.

I'd say it is more of a Factor B causes Factor A  Who doesn't like playing video games high?

OMG, can they stop blamming everything on GTA?? Jesus, I guesse GTA and other violent video games cause our youth to do everything bad these days huh? This type of propoganda really gets me burned up, because I know that the over sheltering parents just eat this shit up

This reminds sooooo much of how cannabis was banned int he early 30s. The Gov. told us that cannabis made you go insane, kill people, rape girls, and listen to jazz music Hopefully Hilary Clinton, and her Feminazi movement, who always speak out against this type of stuff, will never get these type of things banned with false information and lies. These days, parents rely on society to pretty much tell them how to raise their kids. I think if the parents raised the kid up right, their child will have the moral judgement to conclude that killing innocent people in real life is BAD.

    "Correlation doesn't mean causation."
